Roland and Tollett Dental Practice use the latest technology for porcelain crowns and bridges.
A crown is a type of dental restoration used to fix teeth that have been broken, weakened by decay or have a very large filling. The crown fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape of a natural tooth. It will also be tooth coloured, giving the restoration a more natural appearance so it fits in with the rest of your teeth.
A crown could be a good solution for you whether you have some discoloured fillings or you have lost a major part of your tooth.
Also, if you have had root canal treatment you will need a crown to protect or cap the restored tooth, allowing you to eat and bite down on it as if it was a real tooth.
Our porcelain crowns will give you a wonderful result, which allows you to smile with confidence.
A bridge is a means of replacing a missing tooth or teeth by preparing caps (crowns) on the adjacent teeth which support an artificial tooth or teeth and this is cemented over the prepared teeth.
Bridgework might provide a solution as an alternative to implants to close a gap from a lost tooth or several teeth. Bridgework has been around for many more years than implants and is still used in many circumstances where implants are inappropriate or unduly complex.
Our bridges are made with high precision, to ensure a long durability and aesthetic perfection. Our dentists will be happy to take you through all the options and answer any questions you might have.
Together with our talented technician, we achieve wonderful results and are able to replicate natural teeth.
